Song of the Month

Music.

The timeline of my life could be mapped out in music. Every period of my life has a song that goes with it…a sort of pack and parcel statement of where I stand or what I’m thinking or feeling. If I ever become famous enough to write a biography on, they could sell an accompanying soundtrack. If they do, please buy it. My children will need it to pay for all the student loan debt they will inherit.

But, music is emotion, and there’s always that one song that gets to the heart of what I’m going through at the moment. From time to time on here, I’ll share it with you, in lieu of pouring out my all too personal, or perhaps redundant thoughts.

So, without further ado, here’s my current song of the month.

Quotable lines:

“You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.”

“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”

“So gather up your jackets, move it to the exits. I hope you have found a friend…”
