Confessions of an Ex-Conspiracy Theorist Part II: How to Defeat the Illuminati in Four Easy Steps

**If you just ran across this page, this is actually the sequel to my previous post: Confessions Part I: Why I Don’t Rage Against the Nation. It describes my descent into conspiracy theories. **

From Part I:

…..At this point, I decided I had had enough. I realized, that by subjecting myself to all this confusion, fear and outrage, I was exactly where they wanted me. Completely helpless, stripped of identity, and utterly useless against them. By trying to save my life from them, I was actually letting them steal it. But what could I do? Stage a protest?….

I began to pray for answers to that question. The answers that I came up with, were surprisingly simple. I think they are good answers for everyone. Here is the best defense against the Illuminati that I found.

  1. Stop Researching.

Just walk away. The problem with all of this research and awareness sharing, is that it cultivates helplessness. If there is a Satanic group that has patiently embedded itself in culture and politics for centuries, what chance do you stand against it?

That’s exactly what they want you to think. The more you give into the fear, the more useless you actually are. Once you are aware that it’s real, and that it is very bad, step away. Move to doing. Which begs the question: doing what?

  1. Ask God what YOU can do in YOUR world.

You cannot take on the Illuminati by yourself. You can only be a small cog in a larger wheel of a resistance movement. When you understand and accept this, a plan of action becomes clearer. It may be as simple as educating your children on how to critically evaluate their culture consumption and social media presence. Or, it may be working hard in college, so that you can graduate and get an influential job at say…Haliburton or CNN or the White House. It may be volunteering on the PTA so that you can stand up against Common Core in your child’s classroom. It may be starting a blog spotlighting people who are making a difference against the darkness engulfing our nation and world.

  1. Realize that God is Not Threatened by the Illuminati.

Isaiah 8:12 says, “Do not call conspiracy everything these men call conspiracy, do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. But rather fear the Lord.” Psalm 37:1 says, “Do not fret because of evil men, or be envious of those who do wrong. For like grass they will soon whiter.” In fact, read all of Psalm 37. The entire chapter seems to be about the schemes of wicked governments against the righteous.

During my Illuminati obsession, I found tons of Scriptures like this, I cannot even remember them all. But suffice it to say, God is clear that he is not threatened by the plans of wicked conspirators. So we must trust in the Lord, and ask for his guidance and protection.

He will tell you what to do. If you feel led by the Lord to invest in gold, then that may be your protection. If you find yourself inadvertently living on six country acres, and feel like learning how to grow and raise your own food, then that may be your protection. But fear should not be part of it.

  1. Ask the Lord to Make You Ready.

For a Christian, what compounds these fears, is teaching of the end times. We are taught that this evil government has been foretold since the beginning, and it’s not going to get better. As a matter of fact, it going to get a WHOLE LOT WORSE, and last until the end of time. Not only that, while God promised to be with us, he never promised we won’t endure persecution.

So, we see these headlines, and we think, “Great. It’s already starting.” We have nightmares of our own children, emaciated in concentration camps. God doesn’t promise that won’t happen. But, God is not going not going to allow his church to be persecuted if we can’t face it victoriously.

The truth is, that even the best of us in the American church are still not ready. Our hearts, while tender to the Lord and burning with an earnest desire to please him, would still quake and quiver under the pressure prophesied for the end times. God, in his infinite mercy, will wait for us to be ready. He will softly work on our hearts, gently nudging us, growing us, and calling us closer to him, until we can face persecution, steely eyed, unflinching, secure in our identity as sons and daughters of God. God doesn’t do fear. He only does love that sharpens us into who we are destined us to be. Pray that God grows you into the soldier he made you to be. And pray that you will be ready when the time comes.

If you can do that, you will neutralize the Illuminati’s most powerful weapons: fear and helplessness. That’s how you defeat them.

You are not a slave to a wicked global scheme. You are a child of God, an overcomer, destined for greatness. If you know who you are, because you know who your God is, then nothing this world can throw at you can defeat you.
